Following NAACL 2022 affinity group workshops will be held on July 10.

  1. Queer in AI: QInAI are calling for research papers on queer issues in natural language processing and linguistics. In addition, we are also interested in general research done by queer researchers. Accepted works will be linked to our website and invited to present at the NAACL 2022 Conference.
  2. Widening NLP: WINLP will be holding a satellite event online in conjunction with NAACL 2022. Their event will include a keynote speaker, a panel research discussion, and a mentorship roundtable. They will join with other D&I groups in a shared poster session.
  3. LatinX in AI: This affinity workshop is aimed at LatinX individuals working on or interested in Computational Linguistics with a goal to increase the visibility of researchers of LatinX origin in a field.
  4. North Africans in NLP: This workshop includes a non-archival poster session and invited talks. Junior researchers and students interested in NLP from North African institutions and beyond (academia and industry) are welcome to present a poster about their completed or ongoing research projects or ideas.
